Our Story

Born in the Charleston, SC, Mojave Mahi was founded from a love for two worlds that, at first, don’t seem like they belong together. The rugged spirit of the American West and the freedom of being on the water.

Growing up in the Southwest, I’ve always been drawn to the desert. The dusty landscapes, the unique colors, western culture, and the feeling of adventure that comes with wide-open spaces. But after relocating from the West to the East Coast, the ocean became just as much a part of me.

Fishing and being on the water was more than just something I did. It became a way of slowing down, getting outside, chasing the adrenaline rush of reeling a fish in, and just enjoying the moment (which is not always easy for me).

And I started wondering:

Why couldn’t fishing apparel feel a little more like me?

I wanted clothing that could actually keep up with a day on the water. Sun protection, performance fabrics, comfortable fits, but I also didn’t want to sacrifice personal style to get there.

-I wanted unique sets and patterns that made me stand out.
-I wanted neutral colors and a vibe that suited me better than any of the standard colorful fishing gear designed for women. Because quite frankly, bright colors just don’t look good on me.

So I created Mojave Mahi.

Mojave Mahi is a coastal outdoor clothing brand with a western soul. We create functional apparel inspired by the places, people, and adventures that make getting outside so addictive.

Our designs are intentionally different, let’s be reel, where else can you find fish wearing cowboy hats and bandanas?

We believe you shouldn’t have to choose between performance and personality. And it is not just designed for girls that love to reel in big fish.

Whether you’re standing on the bow waiting for a bite, paddle boarding during the sunset, taking a “romantic” walk on the beach, or just chasing a little adventure wherever you find it, Mojave Mahi was made to go with you.

Built for the Water. Inspired by the West.
